Exeter Family Friendly has today rebranded as The Exeter in a move which the mutual healthcare and protection insurer says signals a new corporate direction.
Exeter Family Friendly have today, October 5th 2015, launched a rebrand, and will now be known simply as The Exeter. Although the change means a new, more modern look, The Exeter will still be providing the same great level of service and the same healthcare and protection cover that is simple and easy to buy. Whilst the mutual has roots dating back to 1888 its current corporate structure is a much more recent innovation with Exeter Family Friendly being formed in 2008 from the merger of Pioneer Friendly Society and Exeter Family Friendly Society.
The Exeter CEO, Andy Chapman said “The launch of The Exeter is more than just a new logo. It represents an ambitious statement of what we want to be as an insurer. Advisers can expect to see enhanced products, clearer and simpler product literature along with an improved online journey.”
The society currently boasts nearly 72,000 members across its private medical insurance and income protection schemes. These will shortly be complemented by a range of cash plans which are due to be launched on November 1st, the first product innovation following the rebrand. This comes after the mutual acquired a portfolio of individual and corporate cash plans from Engage Mutual Health.
For Chase Templeton clients who hold policies with The Exeter they can be reassured that the rebrand will not affect their existing cover and there will be no changes to their policy. As always, if you need any help or advice with your policy please contact us and we’ll be happy to help.
