Leading accident, sickness and private medical insurance provider APRIL UK has launched a new company health insurance policy designed specifically for small businesses.
Created to serve small businesses with between 3-29 employees, APRIL UK claims the new Company Health Insurance policy offers a much simpler group PMI policy than what’s avaliable on the market. Marketing manager Isaac Liam commented that: “We were determined to bring out a simple and user friendly plan, but crucially without sacrificing benefits or choice.”
The new policy is modular so that companies can choose from a menu of benefits to create a plan that meets their business needs. Options available include complementary medicine, an extended hospital list health cash plans, psychiatric treatment and worldwide travel insurance.
Following the model set for its individual health insurance, the new scheme also offers reducing excess options. This means that as clients build up their claim free history they can benefit from excesses incrementally decreasing from £100, £200 and £50, ultimately to zero.
The introduction of the plan further increases competition in the company medical insurance market, increasing choice for businesses who may be looking for affordable ways to reward staff and minimise absenteeism.
The new policy naturally falls among those that Chase Templeton will analyse when conducting a whole market review to identify the best group private health insurance plan for your business.
