Call our expert health insurance advisers and we’ll be happy to help you
We always recommend you try to only access treatment from the hospital list specified on your private health insurance.
If you do use a hospital not on this list, some insurers will not cover you at all, making you liable for all of the costs incurred. However, some insurers will partially cover you in this situation – usually taking on a percentage of the costs rather than the full amount. It’s always best to discuss your treatment options with your insurer before taking any action.
In this case it’s always best to get in touch with us or your insurer directly and ask. Most insurers will do what they can to find a hospital and consultant that can help you, and cover the costs too, but this does depend on the situation.
